This is the philosophy at Carri Bass Photography one the premier studios in Spartanburg. Since 1989 Carri Bass has captured timeless moments on film. Ms. Bass is committed to creating photographs that speak volumes to the audience. She specializes in senior portraits, wedding, children, and family photography.
Carri has the unique in the ability to capture personality in a photo journalistic way as well incorporating a sense of tradition. The goal is to capture the day through the eyes of the bride and groom yet using the 20 years of experience to make it flow.
Currently at home in the old Belk-Hudson building on Dunbar Street, Carri Bass has had a photo studio in Spartanburg for more than 20 years. Her first was in Hillcrest Shopping Center. She said she much prefers the historic appeal and downtown vibe of her current digs. “I love being downtown. It’s just wonderful. It’s alive,” said Bass. “I love the exposure and I’m a big supporter of Spartanburg.” She calls herself “traditional with a twist,” offering photo packages along with an a la carte menu. Everything is customized to client specifications. “Even the packages are customized. People can design it any way they want,” she said. – Best of Spartanburg 2010
